COFFEE TALK WITH KIM AND TARA

COUNCIL MEMBERS RECOUNT THEIR STRUGGLE TO MAKE GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENT

This article is a video presentation with Council Members Kim Burkus and Tara Astor.

They speak as the two new council members who have sought change that was opposed by “the Majority” [Council Members Chris Banks, Jason Jones, Lew Brown and Manager Josh Brown].  While the issues described are distinct administrative categories, there is a common theme: lack of timely and full communication.  Burkus and Astor support Council candidates Carty, Fajgier and Swinson who are challenging incumbents Brown and Banks.  Transparency Note: Editor of the Mount Holly Reporter, Nick Sodano, served as the Treasurer of the Astor and Burkus campaign in 2022.
