Joe Sams served Mount Holly as a firefighter for 25 years and also as a Fire Commissioner. Last night he spoke about a post on ‘MOUNT HOLLY NEWS” which is a Facebook page with unclear origins. Sams claimed the post was written by suspended Fire Director Jason Carty, who is currently being investigated for personnel issues.
With regard to whether Mr. Carty is the writer behind “Mount Holly News”, I was the subject of a recent Mount Holly News post which stated “Fake reporter Nick Sodano passing out fear-mongering flyers”. The post features a ring camera at someone’s home showing me delivering a flyer about the Fire District meeting. Jason Carty texted me prior to this post indicating that he objected to me delivering the flyers.
Mr. Sams said that the post about him was a misleading libel by a current Director of Fire Services [see post below]. The email which Sam’s sent to all current Fire District Commissioners is reprinted below.
