Manager Brown Again Attempts To Control Who Residents May Contact

Readers may recall in our previous post regarding the new park at Commerce Place that The Reporter had at least one observation about a lack of information. We believe it would be helpful to fill in that information gap before the February 9, 2026 meeting about the park.

Communication regarding the lack of information was not directed to Township Manager Josh Brown because he has demonstrated on multiple occasions that he chooses to not provide answers.

That’s why The Reporter sought information from the actual author of the park summary. The summary can be found in a link at our previous article about Commerce Park.

While Mr. Brown is often not motivated to providing answers when asked, he does not hesitate to tell The Rerporter when and to whom it may speak.

Brown’s use of the word “please” shifts his communication from being an order to being a request, but it none the less attempts to control speech. He does not have that authority.
