TCNJ TEAMS UP WITH MT HOLLY REPORTER
JOURNALISM STUDENTS WILL SHINE A LIGHT ON MOUNT HOLLY GOVERNMENT
The Mount Holly Reporter is proud to announce that The College of New Jersey will offer credits to junior and senior journalism students as they hone their skills on some of our local issues. These students will come to Mount Holly as part of a course called “Beats and Deadlines” offered in the Spring semester of 2025. The students will research selected issues, interview persons of interest, view local government meetings, submit Open Public Record Act requests to municipal and county officials, and work with our editors to finish stories for publication. We look forward to their uplifting youthful energy joining our organization, even if only briefly. Our goal is to help them produce a high-quality product for our readers, to get the experience they need, and of course, attain an “A” in their “Beats and Deadlines” course.
