A drunk driver plowed into three parked cars on Madison Avenue on September 18, 2026. According to a resident who lives adjacent to the accident scene, there were multiple police cruisers responding and the driver appeared to fail the field sobriety tests.
“She was taken away in one [PD] vehicle, I'm not sure if handcuffed… I saw two empty tall cans of Mike's Twisted Tea on the hood of the second police car. She admitted to the owner of the red SUV that she had been drinking.” Madison Avenue Resident
The resident said that she hopes to convince the Mount Holly Police Department that Madison Avenue needs more traffice enforcement.
The Reporter just received the police report which confirmed that the driver was charged with a DWI and multiple other infractions including failure to posesses a drivers license, registration or insurance.
