Attend Hearing On Commerce Park
A 6PM Hearing Will Be Held On 2/9/26 At The Fire House -17 Pine Street
On 1/9/26, The Reporter informed readers about a new park plan and an effort to solicit resident input for that park. See the image below depicting the first design.
The township is now communicating a new park design which appears to remove the “welcome/historic exhibit” and added pin-wheel of paving with a large flagpole at its center. If the image provided truly depicts a loss of the historic exhibit that would be a poor decision for “Historic Mount Holly”. Likewise the pinwheel of pavers and flag pole are duplicative of Veteran’s Park. The best part of the new design is a pavilion and adjacent paved area to host music and theatrical entertainment.
